The Logan 2000 has an aluminium chassis with the blade held on a sliding holder.

The blade slides through a precision machined slot in the base of the chassis and this stabilises it for better cutting.

This is done by holding the blade at the correct angle as it’s pushed into the mountboard at the correct angle. You can adjust the blade depth with the adjustable stop.

The cutting tip of the blade is not visible, but there are guide marks on the holder that indicate your start and stop positions for the cut.
